surprised When I ordered it from Amazon for thirty something dollars I figured it was a cheapie tool, but I only wanted it to get through one project. When I received it I was surprised at it’s heft and build quality. I’ve finished the project now and it performed beyond my expectations. The only complaint I have is it’s loud, but I have ear muffs in the shop so that’s not really a problem. I recommend the tool whole heartedly.
Does pretty good for light duty work It’s not the most powerful, but it seems to get the job done for light wood projects. If you’re cutting through anything with any thickness, it starts to “bog down” and struggles quite a bit. If you need this for regular use, I would recommend getting one with more power. I don’t see this little guy lasting long if you use it on a regular basis.
Can’t beat it It was the first time I used one of these type tools and must say that it met my expectations. I purchased it primarily to cut through nails holding old style 1950 electrical boxes to wall studs. I did ware the teeth off of one blade because I pressed too hard against the nail while cutting. By slowing down, and letting the tool do the work, it cut through the nails just fine. I used the half-moon blade to cut through paneling & sheet-rock to install new electrical boxes, and it cut…
