Great gifts! Got for most of the people on my Christmas list. Years ago when my Dad worked for the railroad he gave switch lanterns to family for Christmas gifts that he had engraved – I am now going with the same idea. These are practical, very bright, light weight, and easy to engrave a message on to be treasured for years to come.
Very bright Works great and are very bright. Takes two AA batteries and those last for a long time. I wish it had a magnet on the base, but I went to the hardware store and picked up a small pack of them for less than $5. I used some epoxy and mounted them to the bottoms. Does not interfere with the battery and now I have a magnetic base.
Good but not the best for true emergency situations or prolonged power outages. All four worked. The light is so bright it would probably damage your eyes if you stared into it. Nothing really wrong with these but there is No way to adjust the light output. It’s all or nothing. The price was a little bit lower than others here maybe because 12 AA batteries were not included.
