Why would you buy more expensive brands? There is literally no reason to buy a more expensive radio brand. The walkie-talkies are excellentI love using them out in the woods when I’m on my hikes with my partner and they are far across the woods where I can’t see them. I Have a perfectly clear conversation with these radios! Battery life is also great with rechargeable and nickel metal hydride AAA’s. Build quality is great and they do not feel cheap sound quality is also excellent and the microphones are clear
Standard Walkie Talkies These are pretty standard walkie talkies, nothing amazing about them, but nothing disappointing about them either. You can buy the name brand ones for 3 times the price, but for how we use them these are perfect. We only use them on road trips when we car pool somewhere and we usually stay within distance of each other. Very nice walkie talkies. There are so many benefits to having walkie talkies around the house. For one, my wife and I have several children and we do alot of traveling, as a family, especially during the holidays.
