This hat is great for a day at the beach This hat is great for a day at the beach! I love the added sun protection on my face, shoulders and neck! The interior tie inside the hat is great on windy days as you can just tighten your hat and not worry about it flying off your head! Unlike other hats this one is very breathable so you don’t get too hot wearing it.
It is good for my purposes – I wanted it for summer … I have a big head, and had to take the hatband off for it to fit… Even before that, though, it is definitely a floppy, shapeless hat. What a cute, fun, functional sun hat! I am not a hat person, but realize I need a hat to fend off the brutal sun as I get older (the better to keep my smooth, fresh face!). I looked around for a hat that was both packable and cute and this really fits the bill! I love that the brim is shapeable and the wire feels flexible but sturdy.
