My 2 cents on the Wattech H-75 Camp axe At less than a foot long and light weight, it’s not ‘Heavy Duty’ as claimed in the description. I’ve got a couple better camp axes that I do use for tougher jobs, but I find I grab this one quite often for light work around the yard or light camping chores. It’s great for making kindling, driving tent stakes, and other light jobs and it won’t tire you out to wield it. Add it to your backpack and you won’t regret it.

Great craftsmanship at a killer price Great little backpacking hatchet. Very strong, sharp, but it could use a little more weight in the head (personal preference) but it worked like a charm. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship and durability of this hatchet for the price. I have had hatches that cost $32 and where never this good of quality. The sheath is very impressive as well. it is a nice plastic sheath that is very easy to attach to most of my backpacks and i do not worry one bit about tearing or it just falling apart…
