Great for hiking/ everyday wear! I bought both these and the merino wool hiking socks by Wigwam for a recent trip (early July) to Olympic National Park in Washington state. Man, are these socks cozy! I preferred the CoolLite socks for hikes, as my feet were a little too warm in the merino wool socks. These are medium weight, which gives you enough support/cushioning in hiking boots, but still keeps your feet relatively cool- well, as cool as your feet can be in hiking boots. They’re in the wrong department These aren’t socks. Socks are the pieces of cloth that I put on my feet. These are tools for walking. Amazing!
Durability, Performance, and Value. I wear these socks for outdoor work and hiking, and in cold weather for day-to-day activities. I have tried many other brands of hiking socks over the last decade, and this is my favorite, and now the only one I buy. It is comfortable, providing a little cushion under the foot and being much thinner on top. It fits well but is not too tight.
