Very good at dealing with moisture Great socks, fit as expected. Perhaps the best thing is that they really don’t retain all that much moisture. I wore these for the first time (yes, I’ve only worn them once so I can’t claim the same experience as other reviewers) on a hike that traversed through several creek crossings, often requiring me to wade in up to my knees. I hike with trail sneakers that are not waterproof, so these socks predictably got wet as if they’d been submerged (which they were.) Within a couple of minutes…
great even after 25 miles of walking. These socks have been with me through 90 degree weather and 5 degree weather backpacking, they’re great and keep me relatively warm, in cold environments, especially if you’re in a tent at night you may want to double up socks because trust me having frozen feet is not fun. Otherwise I love these socks, there’s a good amount of padding at the bottom too that make therm comfortable.
Hiked 200 miles – no blisters Keeping blisters away is a must for long distance hikers. Wore these socks for 200 miles on the Camino in Spain and not a single blister. They worked very good at taking the sweat from my feet and wicking it away from the skin. I would not hestiate to buy again.
