Haven’t tried it out yet, but it seems like it would work I haven’t had the chance to use this at the beach yet, but plan to in the next month. I am a bit worried about how stable it will be with strong winds, but I bought better stakes to hold it down. Despite what other reviewers have said in regards to closing it back up, I found it fairly easy to do after I watched a few videos. It’s very lightweight and packaging is convenient.
Recommended for beach trips This tent is easy to pop up and break down. It’s pretty spacious and it can fit our entire family of 4. The blanket is not attached to the tent, and I have a mixed feeling towards this. I feel it’s convenient to have the blanket separate so I can only use the blanket or the tent when needed. But on the other hand, sand can get on the blanket easily because there’s no seal between the blanket and the tent. There are windows on the side and on the back so I can get lots of fresh air inside…
What a value Used it on a 2 week, 100mile trip on the AT. I had a lot of rain and stayed dry inside, sets up easy and fast…. often in a hurry.I normally would not choose a cheap tent, opting for better known brands more money brands, but this worked great for me, not one seam rip, or bad zipper… and I gave it hard use.Great experience… now I just need to clean it.
