It won’t cool a room, but works great for one person! If you keep you expectations realistic of this little device–it works great! It certainly isn’t going to cool a room by any means, but if you are really hot natured, it is FABulous! My office at work gets the direct Western afternoon sun, so I’m sweating while everyone else is fine. I plug this into my USB port, and the air is definitely cooler than the ambient air. It really cools me down. (However, you can tell when the sponge starts to dry out). The USB cord doesn’t seem to seat fully into…

it does work, tested in low humitity, get the hose. THIS WILL NOT WORK IN A HUMID PLACE.This is an evaporative cooler, and needs fairly dry air to cool the air, otherwise it is just a fan.The product does work and does not drip.
