Best Result for Shortest Amount of Time Have so many sharpening systems before and almost all bought here on Amazon. My first was an Edgecraft (made by Chef’s Choice), an electric sharpener. It took off a lot of material on my kitchen knives. I used it for an old hunting knife – not good. Then I bought a Lansky system. Too flimsy and too much time to get a good edge. However, I got some folding knives to be razor sharp but too small for kitchen knives. Then I went to the Spyderco Sharpmaker. I got the best results out of the three…

Finally, an easy way to keep knives sharp. Purists will always prefer a whetstone, but the rest of us don’t have the time to truly master that art. I have used several sharpeners, including the multi stone Lansky system. This beats them all. Easiest way to sharpen knives I have found!
