Watch out for Splinters! I’m pretty disappointed with what I received. Main issues being…the wood is splintering in multiple places, I fear for my hand and will probably sand it later. I only buy knives with this specific mechanism however locking this blade is nearly impossible. There’s a good size chunk missing (defect) in the metal. There’s more stuff like scratches but that’s not really a concern for me. Hopefully after some use the blade lock will loosen up and the splinters will be worn smooth.

Great knife I purchased these three times now with no returns from our employees. The ones you get in the box strores are junk. If you use those razor knife enough the springs wear out in less than a year and the blade comes out which is a huge safety concern. These are similar to the Sears/Craftsmen ones. The top clip holds the blade in. If it becomes a little loose over time all you do is take a pair of plyers and squeeze it a little. As far as closing on your finger, every foldable one has that…

Great Same as the Craftsman version. I lose em before I break em. Started using these back in 2008. I’ve used Husky and other brands, they would fall apart or the blade would release while stripping wire (dangerous). I’m an electrician and use these to strip cabling from 1/2″ diameter to 3″ diameter. I used them under heavy load. I only use American blades, otherwise it goes dull and chips the blade. Currently use carbide and replace them often. You’re more likely to get hurt by a dull…
