Strong Value Better than expected. The working end lays nicely with no memory effect from being coiled up. The bitter end, of course always needs to be finished to prevent unraveling, but if that is done, the cord is strong, and is not so slippery that it won’t hold a good knot. High marks for this one.
850 is better than 550 The only reason I bought this product is due to the fact that I bought 2 Gonex 550 bracelet. I re-braiding one of the bracelets after I test it to see if it can be used in a survival situation. This para cord is better quality then the cheap stuff from China. This product has 8 strands and the sheath total of 9 items that can be used. It makes a much nicer weave then other para cords bracelets. It feels better on the skin and is more playable to work with.The ends burn nicely and can be tucked…
850 paracord is the best. I am very pleased with my purchase of this paracord. It is made in the United States and they use top quality material in the production of this cord. Sometimes 550 just isn’t enough and that is when this 850 cord is the most handy. I use it for tent tie downs, hammock cover support and a little bit of everything in between.
