Bright, but very poor durability First, the good. This light is very bright. Moved traffic no problem even in daylight. It held the pattern I had selected for the week I had it so can’t comment on long term in that regard.Unfortunately that’s where the good ends. This light is just not durable. As another review stated, it melted and warped after only a few hours in a hot car with outside temps about 95 degrees. Great Light For The Price! This is a great light and is very bright. I was very surprised when I saw how bright the 16 LEDs were. The shroud around the light prevents any flashback into the vehicle. This light is brighter than the Star Mini Phantom (compared it with a friend who has the Mini Phantom). I have no had any issues with this light at all. Bright during the day and very bright at night. Moves traffic very well. You can’t go wrong with the price at all.
Heat related Issue. This is my wifes account. I purchased this light to enhance the other lights on my patrol unit. I really like the various flash patterns that come with it. First let me say, it’s not built with the heavy duty plastic that can be found on the high end units. I left the unit in my car for 3 days and when I got back in it, the heat had warped the shield that goes around the light. At that point the light was useless.
