Not in ‘All-in-One’ Axe but good for the price. Reading reviews on this hatchet are entertaining to say the least. The hatchet is an inexpensive choice so it seems silly to list every single shortcoming. It comes sharp so getting started requires no prep. It keeps its edge well after several hours of use. With the narrow angle of the axe ‘cheeks’, it makes for some difficult wood splitting. The black wrinkle texture paint created substantial friction against pieces of wood and prevented clean through chops. If splitting is the plan then use…
Nice for small projects! Great little hatchet. Got it for splitting already split logs into smaller pieces for my wood burning stove. Does the job just fine! Would be 5 stars, but check my cons:Pros:Cheap, but good qualitySharpcompactCons:Handle gets uncomfortable after a few swings
Nice hatchet, damaged case. The hatchet is perfect for what I needed. The case arrived damaged, the hatchet cut through the protective plastic strip and the care rendering it useless. The case would not have been good to carry it anyway, the hatchet can almost fall out of it. The case would have been good for storage though. It should not have shipped in the case or should have been packaged so that it could not cut right though it.
