Lots of Extras Better than other iterations I have seen of the travel/camp/collapsible shovel.The extra features, primarily the internal saw, 180 rotation, & extension rod that makes it easier to use, though I am still adapting to the straight handle as opposed to a T or triangle end for when added pressure is needed. I’ll have to see how it holds up on the durability front. Breaks down compactly into a convenient carry case. 1.65#, 5.11 x 4.33 Shovel Blade. Alloy Steel. Think oversized trowel.
Decent folding shovel. Seems well made for the price…screwed together easily, felt sturdy once connected. It took me a minute to figure out that I had to unscrew and rescrew a collar into place to stop the combination shovel/pickhead from moving.I also completely forgot about the fish knife and whistle built in until I came back to write this review…I did discover the storage space inside the end of the handle, inside the emergency hammer tip, you could store matches in there.Folds back…
