It really glows I bought this for my 4 year old daughter. I made a bracelet for her to sleep with (in lieu of a nightlight) and she loved it. It glows so well it made me think again about using it for camping. It would be great to use this for tie downs so people don’t trip over them in the dark. However – you have to “charge” them a lot in the light for them to work….sun or light bulb works fine.

Very bright glow with only minor sunlight The photo is not deceiving in showing how much this glows. When placed near my window on a cloudy day these still glowed intensely when placed in the dark. However they did not glow intensely for more than three hours. I’m guessing that the duration of the glow is somewhat proportionate to the intensity/duration of the light that they are exposed to. I have not tested the strength of this though I did notice that the center strands are different than traditional para cord and do not stay close…

Glow cord. Works well. I made a cool glow in the dark bracelet with this and some micro cord as a gift. Came out great.Great for camping or anywhere you want visible cordage in the dark. It must be in the light for it to “charge” but once it does, it works pretty well. I use it on my backpack zipper pulls and it helps to find in the dark.
