It’s great & there’s an easy way to clean it It’s well made and smartly designed. Drinks stayed very hot for hours. The slicksteel interior is, in my opinion, much better than the non-stick interiors of many of these bottles. I want to be able to clean it without concern for what’s in the non-stick coating, as I’ve seen several reviews for other brands showing the non-stick peeling. In terms of getting it really clean, it turns out that those bubbling 3 minute anti-bacterial denture cleaning tablets do a great job…

If you don’t abuse it, nothing will keep water hot longer, but it dents way too easy. I’ve tested quite a few of these types of mugs/thermos in the past few weeks for for it’s size this so far is the best at heat retention. Basically I boiled water in a kettle filled the units and measured them 5-6 hours later. Not lab based but the results are meaningful enough and separated by enough temperature that I believe it clearly separates the products.Units tested, times, temps:OXO plastic mug: 5 hours, 80 degreesOXO stainless mug: 5 hours, 112 degrees…

Nice bottle – but the lid has a design-flaw I have been a big fan of Zojirushi bottle. The thermal performance is excellent and it is handy to bring anywhere. This model lid has a design flaw; every time you pour the drink, some droplets comes out on the outer surface. (See photo.) This is because there is a small dent at the pouring edge and that area holds liquid after use. I need to wipe the surface (red circled area in the photo) every time I use.
